If you went with a mechanical mod and a drip tank, that 0mg would feel and taste so much better. What tank are you running on the MVP? Also keep your eyes out for the 180w vv God by Sengelei coming out next month. 3 18650's for all the battery life you need for days, and by going up to 180w you can run low sub-ohm drippers on it like a mech. Wide enough for those big 28.5mm tanks, too.

It's not for everyone. It got me started on vaping, but after a couple weeks I realized I needed more power and flavor. A basic eGo setup was next, and that had me hooked. VV mods after that, and when that wasn't enough it was time for mech mods. Haven't looked back since.

Cigalikes suck once you've vaped a good device.

Sweet. Try a 4 wrap 24g wire around a 1/8" bit, and with dual coil you'll hit almost exactly .2ohms. My favorite setup so far, with huge clouds and my cotton doesn't burn unless it goes bone dry.

Menthol is guaranteed to be super strong. Like, a couple drops per 30ml of juice would probably be very noticeable, depending on how strong you like it. Crystals though, I'm not sure.

Had my eye on those plume veils for a couple weeks. Curious to see pics all set up when you get it.

    Awesome! That would be great.
I will give that a try for my next build, I am currently researching RDAs since the one I have right now isn't that great

I'm just using the cheap clone Hades tanks (28.5mm) from Fasttech. They work great. But, they only fit on wider mods meant for 26650 batteries.

Iclear 30 and 30s. I did pick up a joytech one. Supposedly a new release. But it's nothing to write home about.

I LOVE the iClear 30s when I use my VTR or a vv mod. They work great for a dual coil tank, hold lots of juice, and that dual coil gives a decent hit. I use them on the VTR when I business travel because it all fits in my laptop bag very discretely. But when meetings are done, I have my mech mod waiting for me in the rental car or at my hotel.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
I like my iC30s that came with my VTR, but I have had a helluva time finding replacement coils for it recently. They came out with a new design that replaced the iC30s, so I'm guessing they will stop making the "old style" coils :(

ok so my mvp is not getting a full charge so I am going to buy a mod tomorrow. What would someone suggest. I'm not yet to building my own coils but wanting to get there. I was looking at the v5 or the tesla. but any other suggestions.

If you don't want a mechanical, i'd just get another mvp2.
It's my favorite vv/vw. Plus I like that I can fire my kfun on it at .8ohms

I'm getting a new mvp but I've got to send mine in and they are going to send me a new one. But I want something to use while it's gone. As well as something I can build off of later. When I do learn how to build my own coils and what not. I'm on 0mg nic so it's just a habit thing now but also a hobby thing

I don't think I'd wrap a coil at higher than .8 ohms and I don't know of any other vv/vw mods that would run that low so if I were you, I'd just get a mechanical then. No reason you can't run tanks or carto's off a mechanical.

Since you seem to know more about this than I do. The new .8 ohm kanger coils are they worth it? I have iclear 16's that range from 1.8 to 2.0 but I want more vapor. So I know a lower ohm coil will produce that but didn't know about buying them pre made. Like I said I am not fully intune with the whole building my own yet. If you have a how to or a suggestion though I'm all ears.

There are others on here that know way more than I do. Maybe they'll chime in. I don't know anything about the new kanger coils as I've never tried them.

If you have a local vape shop that will let you try stuff out, give that a shot.

As for building coils and stuff, I learned by watching youtube videos.
There's also the ECF forum for info.

I would never run a tank or carto on a mechanical mod, unless it was a tank I could build my own coils for (Kayfun, Russian, etc). Without the voltage or wattage control of a VV, you're going to burn up coils immediately in a carto.

.8 is just going to burn hotter, so you'll have to turn down your wattage/voltage of your VV device to get the same hit. That's the only difference. The resulting vape will pretty much be the same, you'll just be able to achieve it at lower power settings. If you hit that .8 coil too much and dry it out, your next hit is going to taste like a dead rhino's asshole.

I never needed to go lower than 1.8 on coils for my Protank or iClear30's. If you want a better hit, get a dual coil like an iClear30S. Love those tanks.

Good info to know. Do you have a particular vv/vw mod you would or could recommend outside the mvp? I'm sending it off Wednesday for repair or replacement

If you like the box shape of the MVP and you don't need a cylindrical style mod, my favorite road trip VV, that I use when a mech mod isn't practical, is the Innokin VTR. It's heavy, but it's sexy and it gives you even more control of your volts/watts so you can run hotter. But, you're limited by the recessed tank connector on the side if you run tanks bigger than 18mm diameter. I love it especially for running iClear30s tanks, and I do like the recessed tank feature on it because it keeps everything compact. Plus, you put your own 18650 batteries in it so you never run into the battery failures that the MVP has.

Then go with something reliable like a Vamo, or an Innokin SVD.
