to get the same cloud as a hookah on the cheap, i'd go with the pegasus copper mod, with a mutation X RDA, some 24 gauge wire to build coils and 2 Sony VTC4 18650 battery.

 

Look at the turtle ship ss from h cigar it's a good mod, mutation x rda or a sig s rda is a good choice.
Il snapchat you a video of me vaping and you can see I can dump a fuck ton more vapor than a hookah can. I mainly use my vape to not smoke hookah anymore and I have done pretty well at avoiding a hookah.

 

Just made my first bottle of juice lol it's a mix of watermelon, kiwi, hint of strawberry, crap load of redbull and a dab of menthol, along with a couple drops of sweetener. just breathed it for about 6 hours, and it's under the hot tap water right now getting speed steeped. i can't wait lol also my Vox Edition Orchid v2.5 RBA shipped today, im super excited.

I don't know how you guys can vape anything with menthol. Reminds me of medicine too much.

 

idk not to me, i had the black ice from Mt baker, and it was awesome, i was hooked after that, plus i use to smoke only camel filters and camel crush, so it feels good to feel menthol again.

 

It does clear the sinuses though.

 

hell yeah it does, i remember when i got the Extreme Ice from Mt baker and i asked for 4 extra flavor shots without knowing how strong it is, first time vaping it feels like someone injected liquid nitrogen into my brain.

 

So this rayon wick is interesting. It definitely does wick juice much faster than cotton does. However, the issue with that is that it also drains fast. My coils sit up pretty high, and I droop my wick ends down and tuck them below the coils, leaving a gap for air flow. If I let my wicks get even slightly dry, I get an odd taste. But, I don't have any discoloration to the wicks at all. From what I've been reading about this stuff is that you can get dry hits with bad taste that are caused by the coil crust itself burning off more than it does with cotton, and that's what I'm tasting. Not sure yet. I'm going to keep running these wicks for a couple days and see how they hold up. So far, they are staying totally clean and haven't darkened except just from juice color. No discoloration around the coils.

From what everyone says, and from what I've perceived, cotton is more like a "sponge" and rayon is more like a "straw".

 

my build already chucks the juice like crazy as is, and my RDA has a pretty deep well. i think i'll stick to my Japanese cotton for now.

 

I do not like a lot of it I only like a little bit for The cooling affect

how long do you DIYer breath your juice, some people say 6 hours some say 2 days, i have no idea.

 

Some are good right away (pretty rare), but I usually steep my juices for about 2-5 days depending on the flavor. Some truly mature slowly over a week, and others are good once they've sat overnight. I don't make any that have alcohol in the concentrates anymore, otherwise I used to leave the cap off of them and let them air out for about a week before I even blended them.

5 days is my general rule, but I usually vape a new flavor on new wicks right after I make it and then I try it througout the week.

Butter Pecan Ice Cream and Red Bull are the only 2 flavors I've done so far that were great right when mixed. They slightly improved over a week's time, but they didn't require steeping.

I also shake the hell out of my new blends quite a few times in the first day or two. Caps on all the time when steeping. I leave new blends out on my kitchen counter to remind me to shake them up every time I walk by them. It really makes sure that my PG/VG has a chance to grab and absorb every molecule of flavoring and mix well with the nicotine.

I don't take caps off because nicotine oxidizes as it ages/breathes and it weakens. I prefer to keep the vapors inside the bottle. Definitely keep nicotine out of direct sunlight, as that oxidizes it too.

I played around with microwave steeping some flavors before I put nicotine in. Seemed to work pretty good as a way to agitate/blend with heat agitation instead of shaking. Small little bits of time in the microwave with just the flavoring and vg/pg. Like 15 seconds, then shake, then 15 more seconds, then shake. It heats up quick and you don't want to do this with the lids on. Just until the bottle and contents are warm to the touch but still handleable.

 

I was told if I didn't wanna microwave my juice I could turn my coffee pot on and set them on the hot plate. Although I haven't tried either but the hot plate sounds simple enough

 

i just run it under the hot tap water for 10 mins.

 

i open all my juice up and breath it for 6-12 hours, because some juice just has that weird chemical after taste.

 

I wouldn't do that with plastic bottles LOL

 

I've only gotten glass call me spoiled lol

 

I usually go around with my bottle in my pocket, so I use these flat oval 30ml Nalgene dropper bottles. Light and they fit in the pocket much better without looking like I have a boner.
