Is the set up on that one any different then the inno kin starter kit, it just seams so complex.. I hAve no idea what I'm even looking at the starter kit had a video so I kind of understand that one, the other one you linked doesn't have a string in it? Do you need a string?

Think of it this way, the innokin is a chevy and the set up I gave you is a Lexus

I'd maybe substitute a protank 2 mini for the protank 3, but either way that will be a great setup.

I though I did post the protank 3?
Nvm read that wrong. Ya the protank 2 is great but the life of the coils in the 3 is substantially longer

I only recommend it due to the variety in watts, most I have ever hit on one was 75 and that was like dual 12 wraps on 24 gauge. It was really nice flavor and a good heat

Just a bunch of old crap
So I finally tried Japanese cotton. Brand new local vape shop that just opened last month had a bunch in stock. Really great flavor, and it lasts quite a bit longer than processed cotton. Really great wicking properties to it, too. Too bad I was late to the show on this stuff, or I'd have been using it a while ago.

So I've been vaping on a ProVari Classic with a Nautilus tank for the past 6 months and cigarette free that entire time. I think I'm starting to outgrow the airflow a bit and have considered upping to a mech mod/RBA setup. RBA because I'm constantly away from home whether i'm at work, which is a desk job, or driving around. So most of my vaping is done in the car or late at night at home, and I'm looking for the same convenience I have with my current setup.

I'm not quite sold on spending the money on anything that isn't a clone at the moment, in fear I may just revert back to the ease of use and reliability of my ProVari setup.

Does anybody have suggestions for a clone mech mod/rba setup? Or would you say I'm foolish and to jump to the real deal? This will be my first time building ever, and I'm a bit hesitant to the idea of getting myself in over my head. I've been looking at going the route of a Hades 26650 clone, but haven't made a decision on RBA yet.

I started my first dripper builds on my old Magneto, and I loved it, but I don't like the small decks/wells of a 22mm tank. So, I went with a Hades clone and loved it. Bigger battery and the 28mm deck of the larger tanks that fit it are awesome to build on. They hold more juice so you drip less, and the posts are further apart so building is easy. I picked up a cheap 28mm drip tank from Fasttech (search "hades" on fasttech.com and they pop up - about $13 each, and they have the Hades logo on them). I have 2 now, and they never let me down and are easy to build on. I recommend the copper Hades clone though, as it has less voltage drop and the hit is stronger than on a stainless or coated version. Copper looks ugly to some and others love it, but for functionality you can't beat it. It's a heavy beast though, so if you don't want something bulky, stick with an 18650 mod. I still put the Hades in my pocket, but it's a pants dropper!

Building coils is much less intimidating than it sounds. Watch lots of Youtube tutorials on builds and you'll be a pro in no time. Too many coil variations to list, but once you find a style you like, you can build them with your eyes closed. Good wick material is obviously important. Stick with organic cotton balls to learn on, then when you get good at wicks, go up to the Japanese cotton pads.
