When I get home in the evening and I turn the truck off, I get this weird, electronic type of whine for about 3-5 seconds, and then it stops.

What the heck is that and why?

Probably the air doors moving to the unpowered position. Cars with vacuum motors made a bit more noise as the vacuum broke.

I hit the search bar AFTER I posted. It appears to be related the smog pump and is, apparently, normal.

Please disregard. I could not figure out how to delete the post.

    Thanks!
