Can i just get a Flowmaster 40 muffler and put it on my stock pipes with no CAI. Will it sound like poo or can I even do this? Im kinda broke right now, and I can't afford new pipes or a CAI for that matter.

Sure can. That's what I'm running. I think it sounds good.

You can put whatever you want in there. Sound/performance changes with different mufflers- So look around.

And I'd suggest welding- Muffler clamps are far to easy to remove and then...BAM...You have no muffler.
