i think i've come up with a cool way to handle the corner light/blinker conversion required to run any type of aftermarket bumper. i'll be doing an actual install in a few weeks when i get the bumper, but based on my dad's and my bench-testing it should work awesome!

    LINK (AKA Behold my genius!)

    enjoy!

Man, I'm torn between a winch and UCA's. That's what I get for ordering a lift kit and a bumper at the same time I guess.

Well that depends. Tend to go places that you could need a helping hand?? Get the winch.

Want better alignment and suspension travel?? UCAS.

Id go UCAs personally..as you can always just wheel with some one else that has the winch :p haha

    1 MORE!!!!!!!

get in before its too late! wont be this cheap again till next GB...if there is one..:spy:

Yeah, good point. I'll probably have to wait on the winch...

Like Blackdawg said it really depends. But I think you may want to expand your choice of next purchase beyond UCA's or a winch.

UCA's - I've been running stock UCA's with a lift for 4-5 years with no issue. If you really want that extra bit of down travel or are really anal about alignments then get them. Otherwise your money can be better spent elsewhere first.

Winch - Again like Blackdawg said you can always wheel with someone who has one. And really you shouldn't be wheeling alone anyway, at least not in places that would require a winch to get yourself out of. And if you are just starting off it will likely be a while before you venture somewhere that you would need a winch.

My suggestion, you mentioned you just bought a lift. Number one reason for a lift is to fit bigger tires. That should be your next purchase.

Already have tires or want to wait until the current ones wear out? Next thing you should look at is skids and sliders. I'm assuming if you are buying this bumper you plan to play in the rocks. If so, skids and sliders are a must.

Anyway, just my two cents. It all depends on what direction you are taking with the truck.
