Probably even more than that

I'm probably gonna end up blowing my tax return on the rear and sliders and possibly some skids if theres enough

Jlee has towed with it and I believe he was saying that it is just as good as a normal receiver if not better

This. In most situations, they simply don't want to jump the hoops of getting it rated for towing. You can always add extra bracing if you feel uncomfortable about it.

Yea Tim can't claim anything for towing due to liability and the risk of getting sued and such.

But come on...its a beast haha and connected just like a tow package and is prolly beefier..haha

Lol yea that would be bad..but really..i don't see what there is to worry about. You aren't gonna really get any guarantee from anyone on that...plus 13000lbs?? Only over 2x the amount our trucks are suppose to haul...id box the frame and reinforce it before worrying about a silly bumper lol

Yeah it would be about a 1,000lbs that I would be towing. I'm thinking the bumper would probably hold up anyway..

Well the stock bumper alone is rated for towing 3500 pounds and Tim's attaches to the same points and is way sturdier so you should be fine.

I was test fitting mine yesterday and took off the Hidden Hitch I had on there. That used an L bracket that attached the rear bumper bolt and through the bottom of the frame to the hitch. I think I'm going to put that back on with the Elite bumper to beef up the rear of the frame rail.

By the way, d'oh time to chop the exhaust.

If he puts a swing away tire carrier on (maybe a hilift mount too?) I'll start saving up.

I figure if you get him to do the tire swing I'll prolly order the swing later and weld it on myself
