Can you push it out at all? or is it perhaps tip to high up? the bumper doesnt just mount flush..you have to kinda line it up..

we worked on it for a long time to get it to line up, even had some problems. had to make a bolt railing a little wider even. it was 1mm off.. idk i was not happy thats for sure.
its solid. I might be able to get it lower with a lot of work. I will try it out if i get some time tomorrow to take it back off.

Im curious that since it came off a 96(right?) if time custom makes them to fit the different years of grills..

ya know what..that looks like it was based of the 1st version of the bumper, not the 2nd. The 1st few versions were very slim like that and quite clean looking. Tim re did them tho and extended them out about 3'' i think.

The guy you bought it from asked for an exact copy of Tim's own bumper, which was the slimmer version i think.

    just a theory..but possible:notsure:

I know that the frame end on my '98 was a lot longer than the one on my '02. Toyota changed the design.

Unfortunately, there is no way to move the Elite bumper forward or backward, or side to side. The only adjustment (at least on mine) is up and down to change how high the bumper sits in relation to the bottom of the grill.

Post a picture of the 5 bolts on one frame rail mount.
