Thanks for the pics CDJ1! I pulled the trigger today on a Warn M8000-s and a pair of Rigid D2s! Amazon! So pumped to do it once and do it right. I assume you have to mount the winch before you mount the bumper and that the D2s will be much easier to mount before the bumper is in place? One thing leads to another. Going to need some 886's and a Dakar pack next. Then a rear bumper, then some skids! Curse this damn money pit!

Do sliders after lift. By far the most useful armor and important.

but yes. Winch goes in first then bumper. Lights will be easier to do on the ground too. make sure you have some help to lift the 150+lb thing on there.

Or build one of these and put it on furniture dollies like I did. The pic above is the jig with a moving blanket over it. More pics tomorrow on my build as I remove the factory bumper.

Since this thread seems to be very active, does that mean that the group buy is still in effect? Or are people just waiting for old orders to be filled?

So to give everyone a warm fuzzy, if Fastenal damages your bumper, they will pay for repairs. I just got a confirmation from their corporate office that they are going to pay for straightening the bent bracket and a complete strip and repowdercoat. :D

Sliders were one of my first mods, I got in on the BAMF black friday sale. My D2s showed up yesterday. Anybody got any pics of them mounted in an Elite bumper? I can't figure out what Tim had in mind with his fog cutouts.

There are photos of D2s on the first page. If you wanted D2s i hope you ordered the D2 cut out for the bumper as the standard cutouts are round not square.

My original intention was to just use the factory fogs. But to my surprise there were two different types of fog cutouts on it when it arrived. After looking at it again I think I figured out how the D2s mount and which ones the factory fogs are intended for. I'll post a pic and get you guys to correct me if I'm wrong.

You should go with the stock fogs on the round eyes, and D2 SPOT beams in the squares... You'd be covered...
