    Grew up with only Macs in the house, have replaced hard drives in some of them because it's way cheaper than buying a new unit. Currently using a black MacBook from 06 (I believe) with 500 GB HD and maxed out RAM. Have a white MacBook from 06 as well with 250 GB HD and maxed RAM. Old PowerBook G4 just decided to not turn on a couple days ago, but that thing has the Power PC in it so I'll probably just scrap it rather than repair it. Found an old Power Mac Pro (not exactly sure what it's called) on the road so it is now my designated flight school computer and works fine for that purpose.

    Go Mac!!

    PS. Because of all my macs I've had, using the school's PCs is absolute hell. Those are probably the worst computers in the world!

    Tim, get a mac... only if you want to be smart. Idc if people say they're "HIPSTER" or "WHERE'S YOUR SCARF?", but I have to say this is my first macbook and I've had PC my whole life before this and a Mac is the best computer I have EVER had. The Mac is amazing, fast, so many awesome apps and programs for pretty much anything, good luck getting a virus on a Mac (I haven't had one yet. Knock on wood), and will out live a PC by at least twice the lifespan. PC just has too many negatives anymore. They're cheap, battery sucks, always have problems, viruses, freezes, crashes, slow, and the longest PC I had lasted like 4 years before it went to crap. And that was after it was repaired 3 times. Never again will I get a PC.
