Yeah, it would be kinda nice to see a total list for guys that arnt part of this group buy to see if any progress is being made. Has anyone requested and received a refund? I would much rather wait it out than ask for a refund but if production is at a stand still then i dont really have a choice.

My bumper was not to the specs I wanted so I asked for a refund. I have to sell it and get a partial refund bc Tim already invested all the money into these employees that can't do their job.

    Probably a stupid question..
But aren't Elite and Relentless mainly the same bumpers? I've decided to not even peruse buying one and just going with Relentless Fab..

Damn this group buy really did go south  Sucks to see peoples hard earned money disappear for a year plus with hardly any communication.. Hopefully everyone ends up with a bumper...

I definitely learned my lesson, from here on out I will only do business with fabricators who do a deposit up front and full payment upon the actual start of fabrication. Twice I've been burned by shops that can't properly schedule work and end up extremely behind.

    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.

    close.

Tim and Eric went to the same school and devolped thier stuff together.

Tim's has more angles on the top and Erics is a bit more high clear angle on it and its more right angled.

they are very similar though. But..i think Tim's stuff looks much better for 1st gens.

2nd gens..i think Eric makes awesome stuff for them.

    thats just my opinion though.

Has any Administrator replied concerning these problems with Elite Off-road? I don't want to hear any more stories of how "He didn't hire the right fabricator or he had a problem with this or that." How hard is it to ship out some lights or respond once in awhile to your customers AND actually get an order right. This whole thing sickens me and I don't feel Tim should be allowed on this forum for how many people he has screwed over and didn't produce the right product, if any product, in a timely manner.

Frankly, this guy does not even listen to his customers when he does communicate by email. He clearly screwed up a lot of bumpers with email communication and it takes an act of god to get him on the phone. These are terrible business practices. I should have been hesitant in the beginning when he wanted full payment for a product he had not yet produced.

I took this right after getting pulled out for the second time that day. Tow points worked great both times.

Agreed. Don't have any sort of investment in any of this, just been poking my head in here from time to time..

From the limited fragments of customer service that Tim has added to this thread, I sure hope you guys are getting taken care of through PMs or texts/phone.

"But don't hop on this thread as often"...

Seriously? You're running a business, and have a substantial amount of other people's money.. I equate that to, "Well, I don't really have any inclination of resolving this..". That's unacceptable. I'd feel like an incredibly shitty person if I told that to one of my fab clients.

Again, maybe I'm totally off-base, I'm not trying to incite an argument or get flamed. It's just frustrating for this guy to be in here spoiling the wonderful community and customer base that is TacomaWorld. Perhaps I should brace for an onslaught of hate mail.

How hard is it to spend 10 minutes and come up with some statement regarding where you're at? It seems as though there is some anecdotal statements in here regarding possible excuses for what's going on. Bottom line, this kind of stuff is inexcusable. If you can't follow through, just let it be known; and work to get people their money back. There's no shame in backing down, and it's the responsible thing to do.

This is a great community, and I consider it a privilege to do business with you.

    Time to sack up.

    End rant.

I have no connection to this but why dont people file a claim with the credit card they paid with. He'll get the hint real fast when the credit card companies start collecting money from him. If you get in over your head bad shit is bound to happen.
