Threw mine in this past weekend. Their output is stunning, but I am pretty disappointed in how dim the backlight is. Was hoping it would have the effect of a drl/demon eye but it really can't be seen in the daylight.

Yes, you have the option to not connect our backlight wire lead if you don't want the backlight function.

How do these compare to the ss3 pros?

not sure if it was mentioned, sorry if I missed it as I went through this thread.

 

Elite Series Fog Lamps are right in line with our SS3 Sport regarding performance. The SS3 Pro has a taller beam pattern and more intensity.

Measured Lumen Output:
ES 1850 lm vs SS3 Sport 1520 lm


Peak Intensity:
ES 10200 cd vs SS3 Sport 10600 cd


However, our Elite Series Fog Lamps utilize a custom-engineered patent-pending optic that delivers an extremely sharp cut-off, wide beam pattern, and unique BMW style color banding.

 

Just put these on my truck along with new LED headlights and wow. I can see at night now!

The fogs perform extremely well. I am big into modding cars but never thought of fog lights to be so important. Little did I know. I will now need these in all my vehicles. I was mainly looking to change up the look of my front end from the stock, chrome hazy foggy lights with something darker. The price tag was hard to swallow for some fog lights but these are 100% worth it.

The cutoff is sharp and the output is super impressive. The color match is perfect with the headlights as well. Amber DRL function looks sweet at night and a cool added feature you don’t get with fog lights.

Anyone have any pictures of the yellow model installed on the truck but not powered on? Other than the zoomed in pictures from the ads, I haven't been able to find any pictures of what they look like on the truck, from far enough back that you can see the front end of the truck.
