    Looks like a Gen2.5 TRD Sport, but really an '08 TRD OffRoad
    TRD Supercharged / OTT Tuned
    Dd, lame question but.... if I have the backlight (amber) switched ON and then turn the foglight (yellow) ON, does the circuitry tell the backlight to turn off everytime the foglight is on?

    I have the Elites for a Gen2.5 Tacoma and love 'em. I have the backlight and fog wired on independent on/off switches and curious with how it works.

    I cant see any "amber" when my fogs (yellow) are on because these things are BRIGHT!...in a good way!

    No question is a bad question.

    That's correct!

    The backlight receives a signal when the main fog beam turns on to kill the backlight power.

    The toyota should be partnered up with DD for the new lighting.

    And anything for the TRD Pro guys that wanna keep their rigid pro bezels? I'd love to get these fogs. But I also love the aggressive look the rigid pro bezels give out.

    Maybe the ssc2 will replace the rigid fogs but all us to keep the bezels?

    The user that performed this swap can be found on Facebook: The users original Facebook group post performing this upgrade: Modification is required to upgrade to SSC2 SAE Fog lamps with Rigid bezels.

    Just got my Elite Series fogs. Stoked to get them installed this weekend! Question: if I wire up the backlight for my non-LED headlights now and decide to switch to LED headlights in the future, can I rewire the backlight at that point no problem? Or is there a more neutral spot to wire them so that I won't have to wire again?

    By any chance. Will you guys be making bracket soon for the ssc2 to fit the TRD Pro bezels?

    I've thought about doing this like another member in the forum, it is a ss3 with the pro bezels. But I don't want to ruin a perfect factory part. Aha
