I forgot I made this video. This shows my lockbox I made to keep binoculars, knives, etc., in if I ever need to leave such things in the truck. It's the first video I ever made. I say "Um" too much. Sorry!

Bought some sliders like 5 months ago (shout-out to @WhiteReaper for a great deal and transaction). Finally bolted them on today. Line-X'd Cali Raised 25 degree bars.

Awesome, just the thread I was looking for. I have some questions for you Sir. Did you have any issues when switching to the ARB side markers? I swapped mine to LED bulbs along with my DTRL LED bulbs and had hyperflash. So I swapped back to bulbs in my DTRL and kept the LED bulbs in the ARB side markers. So you mind sharing how you wired the white light in the ARB side marker? Also thanks for posting pics of the new Stedi fogs. Been wanting to buy them, I think your thread pushed me over.

My driver's side stedi fog has, well, fogged up. I thrash the truck fairly hard through overgrown trails and forest roads in pursuit of fish and game. I just found out yesterday and haven't reached out to them yet.

I have a separate switch that only powers the white LEDs in the ARB lights. I rarely ever use them and forget they're even there fairly often. They aren't bright enough to do much. I was hoping I could use them as lower level lights to set up camp after dark but they just don't have enough output.

Sorry to hear that about the stedi. Hope they take care of it for you. I'm surprised it did that. I've had my Stedi's in since Jan with no issues so far. I haven't bothered to hook up the halos on them yet, or even the ARB's blinkers. I've been happy with the Stedi's to date, but will watch for any fogging now, just to be sure. My spots are also an Australian co. I went with the Adventure Kings 7" domin8r lights. Unfortunately 4wd supa centre doesn't ship to the US, but I have friends in Aus, and had them shipped to them, who then shipped to me. I think my total on those with shipping was maybe 120 for the pair, and I think I threw in some extra to cover their gas and time to take them to the PO for me.

Found this shackle lying in the road while elk scouting a couple weeks ago.

    KIMG0671.jpg

Bought a full set of BAMF 1/4" steel skid plates from @Kidwidataco a couple weeks ago.

    KIMG0707.jpg

Bolted the front two skids on and put the shackle to use on the recovery point I bought from @Wyckedan:

Now that he's good and broken in with 155k on the clock, it's time to put him to work!

I just wanted to follow up on here about the STEDI fog light situation. I emailed them with a pic of my fogged up lens. By then, the angel eye part had stopped working. They had me field destroy it by drilling two holes in the lens, sending them a pic, and they’re shipping me a new one at no cost. Can’t ask for better customer surface than that!

I still need to order these fog lights. Also any help on how to wire everything up? A photo would be a huge help if ya don't mind. I swapped my original ARB bumper blinkers to LED bulbs and now I get bad radio interference. Going to swap to LED as you did. Thanks for any help.

I’ll snap some pics when I install the new light. But basically, for the STEDIs, you wire the main light to a switch in your dash like any other light. I tapped the power supply for the factory fog lights to power the angel eye so they’re one anytime the factory fogs are on. I put in the ARB LED lights in a similar fashion. The power for the amber LEDs is from the turn signal power supply. The white LEDs in the ARB lights are wired to a switch in the dash and are turned on and off independently of anything else. I rarely ever use them. They aren’t bright enough to act as anything other than a marker light. I hoped they would be good for setting up a camp after dark but they aren’t.

Let me know if you have any specific questions. I’ll try to get you some pics of everything when I put in the new light. But be patient, it’s hunting season!

I replaced my carpet with gray vinyl flooring. I ordered it from Automotive Interiors and Accessories. It was $200 shipped to my door. It’s vacuum formed and is close enough to get it lined up. It cuts super easy with a sharp razor knife. I didn’t have to trim it much. I messed up and cut it wrong in a spot or two but that’s all hidden by the interior. I’m fairly satisfied at this price, but expect I’ll end up getting the Toyota version eventually.

I got the new light put in and got some pics that I hope help.

This is the driver’s side corner marker light aka parking light. It’s the first be that comes on when you turn the headlight switch to the first click, before actually turning the headlight on. The green wire is the power wire to the bulb on the factory harness. The yellow wire is the power wire to the halo portion of the fog light. The power for the fog portion is run to a switch in the dash. The ground for the halo and the fog comes out of the back of the light housing and is grounded to a wire on the underside.

    3F911D2A-FBEA-4067-9B2E-820ABFC96350.jpg
This is the passenger side turn signal bulb. Here, the yellow wire is the power to the turn signal from the factory harness, and the green wire is the power to the amber LEDs on the ARB lights. Similar to above, the white LEDs are powered through a switch in the dash. Both the white and amber LEDs share a common ground wire and that connection is underneath.

This should go without saying, but the connections pictured above have to be made on each side. I just pictured one of each power draw for demonstration.

Here are the pics of the lights again:

    28E9E702-C0F8-4D7C-B7CA-3600BBE6EB67.jpg
Just halos and corner markers (you can’t see them behind the bumper in this pic). The halos look different but I think it’s because they aren’t in alignment yet.

    9CA69F49-6FED-407B-B0FC-9A0744830569.jpg
Just fogs. Again, the lights aren’t aligned so the one looks brighter.

    035B7B04-F863-40A6-BAAE-9F00AC0987F4.jpg
This was taken with the hazard flashers on. The amber LEDs in the ARB lights come on anytime the turn signal light is on, meaning while turning or using the hazards.

    5CD61F84-E72F-4E60-B3FE-977A398DE86F.jpg
This is just the white LEDs in the ARB lights. Even in the dark, they’re about worthless for anything except as a marker light.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need more pics or info.

Ha ha, I have the same mod on my front LP. Took a rubber mallet to the top part before I cut my hand on it.

Ah, now it makes sense. I did that in the woods, pushing brush or turning in a spot almost too tight for a trail limo.

I did mine on purpose, so I wouldn't forget it one day and slice my hand open. I had some steel that had the same radius and laid the plate over it and took a rubber mallet to it.

My man! Appreciate this thread! I've been blowing through indicator bulbs in my bumper like a $2 on shore leave. Tired of it and want to upgrade to led.

Nice to see the write up on your STEDI fogs along with update. Was thinking of sticking with Vision X as I have their G2 Cannons.

Thanks for the props. I like the STEDI’s and may try one of their higher end lights if I decide to put some on. The LED lights from ARB are much better than the standard ones.

I found a good price on a used ARB canopy with the room attachment. Got it mounted today.
