So, I'm confused now...the grill insert will fit the original Tacoma grill frame AFTER it is modified? Or do you order the combination of the Satoshi modified grill frame, and the insert?

Center of grille has to be cut out either way. Surface mount grille means you don't have to fix the sides where you cut center section. Satoshi means you have to fill and smooth the cut areas because those will show.

Thanks... I'm taking that as a compliment. Mainly because I'm obsessed with checking out my truck now. Every time i park I've got to walk around front and check it out. I can thank tim for being even more proud of my truck.

I see that you are still working on the fog light cover, but I'm still curious about if you're offering the hood scoop insert?

Also, is the "frame" just for the satoshi style, or could you do a frame for the lower grille too so that we could bolt on whatever mesh we wanted (I want my grille, lower grille, hood scoop, and triangles to be the same mesh and I'm trying to get mesh from the door of a server rack...).

    Thanks for any info.

It blows my mind that my 2011 has the same hex pattern as Tim's grille above and below the center bar with the logo. The side vents also have the same hex pattern just a bit smaller. Did the chick or the egg come first???

I plan to go with Tim's grill upper and lower, with the large "TOYOTA" emblem from a cruiser. I can't see chopping into a 2011 grille that is only three weeks old. Also, check out pic #2 and you can see how this factory hex pattern is attached all around the grille surround. Not just two quick cuts on the center bar it looks like. Anyone have a chrome grille from a 2nd gen collecting dust that they would like to sell?

I'm confussed about the satoshi grill. I know that you have to cut the original grill out and then do some body work to hide the cut. Now the satoshi grill you offer, do you offer some trim piece that goes on the inside of the grill to cover the cuts? Or do i still have to do some body work to the grill even if I buy your satoshi grill. Really dont want to habe to do body work to the grill after I cut out the original center grill.

What is the finish on the Toyota logo? Is that simply polished? Looks excellent.
