HaHa, Another Guy Moddin' his Tacoma at work.
Your truck and the ONE light look good.

I'm still wonderin' 'bout the Tranny Cooler, conflicting with the light on the drivers side.
Do you have the cooler (comes with Tow Pkg)? Don't see one thru your Grill.
Thinkin' it may have to be relocated.
I'm waitin' for Light Bar in hand before deciding on which lights I'll get.

Anyone else dealt with the issue?

I've got both lights up and running on mine, now I just need to angle them down.

No tranny cooler here, but if I get a chance I'll try to get some measurements of where the cooler is off my brothers truck to see if it would fit.

 

what tim said ...also, i decided to go with the hella 500 series lights.

 

I have one more powder coated bar that will be shipping no later then monday. I can start taking orders for batch 3 i get them from the laser cutter mid week next week.

did you see ants post #189 he has a cooler, but just by looking at it with the bar in the lowest position it looks like it will be fine??

Still looks like it's gonna be in the lights "personal space"

I may have to offer some drop brackets for the cooler to lower it 1.5 or so
8.5 inches will be close i dont have any brackets here or i would do some more measuring

 

Yeah, a bracket might be a good thought.
I think it's gonna be more like 6.5" straight down (or up)
from the light's mounting stud to the angled back of the light's housing,
allowing the angled portion of the light housing to sit in front of the cooler, maybe.
We'll see. I'm in no rush

EDIT: I've been thinking of moving the Tranny Cooler down behind the lower grill opening

I've got a bar and a set of Lightforce 170's on the way. I'll post a picture of the bar when it gets here, but I don't think I'm going to actually install everything until it warm up a little around here and I can touch up the black paint on the radiator. Bar should be getting here today.

you are dead on about 6.5 from the top of the cooler bracket to the bar looks like you will have to lower the cooler it wont be that hard though the hella 1000 are tall!!!

I picked up my Light Bar today! I will post some pics once I get it installed. I will be mounting my HID converted Hella 700's to it.

RE: I just noticed the pics of the cooler being in the way. I might have some problems with my Hella 700's

 

If your using a satoshi you may have a issue if its a flush style insert like a grillcraft you can move the lights forward on the bar let us know thanks

 

So when is the tranny cooler drop bracket with horn relocate function group buy?

 

I don't thing Alot of people are going to need it only when using a satoshi with big lights, we will find out soon

 

I think it'll be movable with a little ingenuity and effort.
As I posted earlier, the beveled housing may miss the cooler
I'm still tryin' to find out if the 700's and the Rallye 1000's are the same size.
I posted that question earlier with no response.
Hella's site shows them being the same. Wonderin' if it's a typo.
I'm gonna keep am eye on your progress.
