A friend gave me an emac to sell. All I have is the actual computer, no keyboard, mouse or power cable. How do I find out what model it is and how much its worth to sell? Got bills to pay and we need it out of our backseat.

There should be a sticker listing the serial number right inside the optical tray. It'll also tell you what processor, speed, how much ram, what type of optical drive, size of HDD and a few other specifics.
This obviously won't account for any upgrades he did to it though.

    Here's a sample image

Just took these.. Not sure what any of those numbers mean.. Not to knowledgable about tech computer stuff..

Anybody have any idea roughly how much this comp is worth? I don't have the power cable or a mouse/keyboard for it. Just the actual machine.

That bottom row tells you it has a G4 1Ghz processor with 128MB of RAM and a 40GB hard drive. Combo means it has a DVD Reader with the capability to burn CD's. It has a 56k modem and runs on 110v.

Do a search on ebay for completed listings to find your worth of a comparable machine.
