I just put the emblem back-out overlay set on my 2021 Tacoma SR5 V6 4x4. After putting the drivers side door overlay on I noticed that the door overlays are labeled for drivers side and passengers side. I got em backwards, but they look identical and they fit fine. Does anyone know if it really matters?

IMO, I don’t see why it would make a difference left and right emblems are identical.

I just did mine too. I didn't see that they were labeled. I assume as long as they fit well they should be ok.

Thanks. Thats what I thought. All I could figure was the packaging had the v6 and 4x4 overlays also, so they may have had “drivers side” on the door overlay that was on the side of the package with the 4x4 overlay so you knew that’s what side the 4x4 went on? Although that seems stupid too because it’s obvious.

I've bought a few sets for different tacoma's and have never even seen them labeled. Can't possibly matter.

Agree with itsnotatoy. They seemed to fit exactly the same on both sides.
