Emergency brake handle loose

For what it is worth I have had nothing but problems with Aftermarket cables.

I get all mine from the dealer when they could obsolete it might get interesting

I replaced both front and rear cables and all the hardware and bought spares just in case

 

I'll have to take a look at mine tomorrow as well, having same issue where hopefully adjusting the tension will fix it.

 

While you’re in there make sure the brakes apply and release, mine is an 02 double cab and it wasn’t releasing. I found the piece at the backing plate with a rubber cover was seized, I took it apart cleaned it and lubed it.
