Emergency brake problems

    Yes, the cable housing is stuck on top of the leaf spring and when you lowered the jack and allowed the weight of the vehicle to compress the leaf pack, the cable was stretched beyond design. I bet something inside is broken AND/OR the end of the actual cable inside the housing is now detached from the brake.

    2” level with TRD lift kit. SPC UCA. 285/70/17 OME medium load leaf
    Should i just take it to Toyota

    Any decent shop that knows how to work on drum brakes can fix this. Doesn’t need to be Toyota.
