drain em , refill with the right one, whats left shouldnt matter. or call dealer and see if 1/2 n 1/2 is safe per your model year and engine.

IMO Since the deed is done just use it. It won't hurt anything. Use the right stuff next time.

Don't say anything to your dealer, because of warrenty issues. Just use the 5W-30 next time. You might even see a slight MPG boost.

Skip the mixing and use the same thing this time. Pity to dump Royal Purple anyway.

Just use what you've got this time, switch to the right weight next time. Won't hurt anything.

Just an up-date on what happened. Everything is running good took a trip to Chorpus Christi with no problems and yes I left in the 5-20w Royal Purple in and yes I am getting more mpg's but worryed about protection, well drain at 3000 miles and will be sure to put in 5w-30. Usually leave in 5000 but it's been dam hot over 100 the past 3 weeks so concerned about the protection in the long run, again thanks for those who responded and hope this helps someone else who makes an honest mistake....:p
