Exactly, IPD don't mess around. They've actually been cracking down on lifted trucks. Like pulling them over and measuring the truck with a tape measure. Wonder if it's for lack of mud flaps or how far the tires stick out

Threads like this are the reason I stick around this community. It's easy to lose sight of the good people here when you constantly deal with shit bags and trolls all over the 3rd gen section. The sense of comradery here was fucking awesome.

Well, to be fair, the 3'rd gen'rs deserve it with many of the threads they have come up with.

The few have ruined it for the many. It's usually the same dickheads time and time again.
MODS need to clean that section up.

I agree. They should contact Toyota corporate and have them cancel the current gen Tacoma. Then the issue of the type of owner that it brings will fix itself.

That's not entirely accurate as a lot of 3rd gen owners came from 1st or 2nd gen's.

Perhaps, but I will put it like this.

Besides off-roading, maybe moreso, my biggest passion is guns and civil rights in general. A major event happened in December of 2012 that brought about a new breed of gun owner. They are not so affectionately known at 13'rs. I see many similarities between 3rd gen owners on this forum as I did from the 13'rs on gun forums back in early 2013.

Hate to say it but old values and common sense are fading fast.

However I don't completely buy into the 13er garbage. This elitist shit on all the forums where people are openly critized for not knowing everything is ridiculous. Yes people go to AR15.com and other forums and ask dumb shit, so what. Some people don't come from the same backrounds. How the hell is anybody suppose to take up something new if everywhere you go you catch shit from the vets and people that have maybe been around the block.
We need everybody we can get to fight all the libtards at the state and federal levels who wanna strip us of our rights.

Try contributing to the solution instead of remaining the problem.

If no one will educate this new generation then the other side has won and your argument will become irrelevant.

I was busy for 5 hours yesterday being part of the solution by helping hands-on with my limited skills and equipment with somebody who is getting into general metal work and welding on his Jeep. He did not ask a million questions that have been answered a million times online. He did the hours of prereq. research then asked me to help when he was finally ready to dive in to hacking up his vehicle.

And 2 weeks ago, once again being part of the solution, I took out a friend and his 2 early teenage sons, as well as a coworker who is new to shooting, out to the desert to do some target shooting and skeet. Used my guns and ammo and introduced them to the real world of gun ownership, not what is seen on the news.

I am doing my part as an ambassador to my 2 favorite passions to win over hearts and minds, as well as education.

I think the conservatives are doing a good job of stripping our rights as well
