emergency unlock for shifter

    07 dbc long box speedway blue
    custom cold air intake 4 inch tubing, MBRP dual catback exhaust, readylift leveling kit with 265/75-17 on eagle alloy rims
    on the automatic trucks theres a little button that u push to unlock the shifter, i had to use this the other day when i blew all my fuses the truck wouldnt shift.... has anyone else had this happen before? when they couldnt shift and had to use the button?

    Ye, I used it when I was going up on the flat bed. Fuses were messed up also.

    does the shifter only lock when the fuses get messed up?

    I think it unlocks in accessory mode, if you can't go in acc it won't unlock. eg : no keys, dead battery, blown fuses, etc.
    It's either acc mode or when the engine starts, I don't quite remember.

    ^^It's under the plastic tab at the top of the shifter display. Just read your sig, it's only for autos so you don't have one.
