Random question. Which do you use on your tacoma? I would love to get better output, especially on the highway

I run standard h4 bulbs on the taco. Light output was fine when I was driving it. My tundra also just runs to stock h4 bulbs. And the 02 taco.

Personally I don’t like LED headlights in the rain because the color of the light reflects back to much. The Mercedes is getting them due to power draw and I probably won’t be driving this thing in the rain

I think the frame is bent.... on the JD rider :)

Good luck with the new project. That's going to be a really fun ride once you bring her back to life.

Frames straight in the ol John Deere. It was just one. Trailer not designed to hold a small tractor and a car. Lol I actually might get that thing running this weekend. The Mercedes has to wait till I can trailer it to the house and actually have real tools to drop the tank and do some other stuff. Might even take it to work and get it on a lift

totally forgot to mention, the woman i bought this car from has the ORIGINAL license plate from the car. 1966 new york plate. i will be getting that next week if i have time to go grab it. i like the little things like that.
other than that not a whole lot to report. need to get the tundra running again, pickup a car trailer and bring this baby to work to pull the gas tank and clean it out. then work on the carbs

Did some mice mitigation on the car today. Hopefully have the tundra up and running next week so I can move my Tacoma frame to the farm and get the Mercedes home to work on it easier. [IMG] Gotta love that interior

The rear end was similar to all the cars built in this platform. Higher trims (220 and what not) would have chrome. Mine being a 200 does not.

Cars still sitting outside just incase mice are still in it (doubtful, but precautions) messed with it again today, still no starter activity, but I did maNage to get
Wipers working and blower motor works on highest setting (resistor issue likely). Looks like ignition switch issue for a lot of the power stuff. Once it’s in the garage I have to reconnect the transmission linkage (stuck in neutral) and get the wheels off and unseize the brakes. The cars going to have to go to work for me to replace all the brake lines (they’re still holding fluid, but starting to loom rough.) once the tank and lines are off I’ll probably sand and paint the underside with my favorite paint, steelit black

well. Got her in the garage tonight, should i have time tomorrow i plan on getting the carbs off and start working on getting this thing ready to run off a gas can. Also need to get the brakes sorted, looking at the brake lines its looking like i'll be replacing at least all the metal lines in the rear.
