There were no new Tacoma's or Tundra's on the lot, two used Tacoma's and maybe six new cars. The lot looked like they were having an offsite tent sale somewhere but not the case.

Looks like our trucks resale value will remain very high for the near future. Not selling but good to know your 2 year old truck is worth more now than you paid for it.

My local Toyota Dealer had a crap load of used Dodge Ram's on the lot, must be all they can get a hold of.

Local Toyota dealership in my area is offering $500 if you bring your truck to them when your lease expires. Lots are bare right now and used tacos are priced at crazy levels.

Toyota dealers around Phoenix have nothing but used Tacoma's and a few new Corollas etc -
Dodge dealer had quite a few new trucks on the lot -

This is gonna be happening for the next several years - I'm so glad I got my Tacoma about 6 months ago -

I used to see 40-50 on the lot at one time, then all of the sudden poof they were gone - the one I got hit the lot and
I bought it that day. I thought I was paying too much for it but now I realize it was a fair price at the time. ( $33k )

Damn happy to have it too.

Some of the so called "experts" said it was due to many people going back to work & buying vehicles. I think it is because of the $$$$ "market Adjustment" on new vehicles.

Yeah, the local dealer in Oakland [One Toyota] has been out of new vehicles for months. The thing is, yes, it is a great time to sell your used vehicle, or to turn in your lease vehicle, but what are you going to replace it with since there is nothing new on the lots? Heck I have been offered over $45000 for my 2019 TRD Sport that is heavily customized, but what would I do for a replacement? That is the problem. And I still don't see why Toyota is running ads offering $500 off Toyotas, when they don't have any to sell! Strange!

Find a 1990s Toyota Pick up with less than 40 miles on it

Same problem here in Western Colorado. Virtually no new Toyotas on any dealer lots, especially trucks. However, last week my neighbor bought a new 2021 TRD Off-Road Tacoma for MSRP: just above $40K with several options like LED lights and Tech package, etc. Truck has been built and is in transit to the dealer in Delta, CO. They had 5 new 2021 Tacomas on allocation, and this was the last one that hadn't been pre-sold. I think this was the last allocation of 2021s.

My Taco got flooded at work. Insurance totaled it. I ended up getting maybe $300 less than what I paid for my truck brand new (deductible was $500). Though I estimate I broke even since I removed the predator tube step and floor mats. Really good considering I put 17K miles on it and had my Taco for a little over a year.

The two used Tundras on the lot last time I was at the dealer (Thompson Toyota in Doylestown, Pennsylvania); There were a few new Tundras, but I literally mean a few...

The gray one is a 2014 with over 100K miles and this is what they're asking for it (A month ago it was like $36K)!
