I think the SX Tundra has been around since 2018. Only available in the crew cab, or what ever it's called. I think 2020 was the 1st year for the CrewMax SX Tundra. I think the Crewmax SX is Rwd only. I have never seen a 4x4, only seen the other style cab in 4x4 & Rwd.

Can't say i was in the market for a Geo Metro or Prius in 2008...

I stand by my post and am willing to make a friendly wager of say $1.00 ...
I say that current prices will remain within 5% based on the following:
    Toyota Build:
SR6 AC V6 4WD no bells no whistles...

So... if this build gets less than $30,007.75 by this time next year ( mark your calendar ) I'll send
    you a crisp $1.00..

(ps: if this post violates some rule please delete)

Msrps are not transaction prices. Dealers charge 2-10k above sticker and get it.

Two days ago my dealership had 3 Tundra's and 2 Tacoma's, today they have 1 of each, both white SX models. The Tacoma is a 4cyl 4x2 listed for $29,240 and It does come with any extras either.

Vehicle prices went down dramatically in early 2009. I was in the market at the time.

There was a surplus of vehicle inventory at that time too. ;)

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. (Everybody is probably busy buying a house and/or paying their insane mortgages.) There is just not the same amount of disposable income here.

Hate the thought of the poor MV dealers suffering. If I received a dispensation from the legal authorities I'd be willing to euthanize them.

My dealership had 1 new Tacoma and 1 new Tundra last Friday. A mix of a few used. Almost no new cars.

Only Tacomas available around VA are 2 wheel drive 4 cylinders. Sure are a lot of Honda Ridgelines for sale though

I can see the Toyota dealer in my area if I look out my front door. There used to be three or 4 tacomas at all times parked out front and the lot full. There is now zero tacomas and one lower model 4runner. This is in Huntington beach

Crazy. Either they do crazy volumes and typically have hundreds or they're in a location where folks can buy at or below MSRP without a huge struggle.

All of the dealers around me are bone dry. Literally a few used cars on the lots and anything new that comes in is pretty much already spoken for before it arrives. I've been tempted to try to sell high since the wife and I both work from home and honestly don't need two vehicles, but I'd miss the Taco...

Ive thought about selling mine and I wouldn't miss it at all. BUT I like knowing at least one of my cars is the reliable one aka the Tacoma

My local Toyota dealership has more used F-150s on the lot than new or used Tacomas. :)

Did they try to offer you anything for yours? Feel like the preowned managers prey on the clueless service buyers. Going in for the 5k service and am eagerly awaiting an offer to turn down.
