Went GM rear disks on my F69. Btw totally didn’t understand how Tundra / Sequoia booster / mc’s worked before when I private messaged you - they were different enough and my single diaphragm remanned had a smaller inner gasket that made it seem like the Sequoia master wouldn’t work without mods, but I learned I am too much of a noob.

@Dalandser thanx for the offer but not sure if this is the direction I want to take either, hah. Interesting set-up as it uses Toyota components, which I like. What made you change your mind and go the GM route?

Could you elaborate on the what components you bought to press the axles back together as it appears from the pics there are a few tundra related items that had to be used? Also, I'm assuming that those are the standard taco axle shafts?

everything is tacoma. the kit replaces the backing plates. it can be done without pressing the old axles apart.

    that's intriguing

So excuse my lack of expertise on your brake set-up but why run the LSPV if the sequoia master cylinder is set up to run 4 wheel discs? Is this a personally choice or really necessary to have the rear breaking system work properly as I know some replace it with a manual unit they place under the hood and remove the LSPV altogether?

I just rather keep the LSPV since it does indeed help alot when towing. assuming its adjusted correctly. the master shouldnt affect how it works

Finally a build with for a fellow green taco! Love it. Keep it coming man.

How's the rustoleum holding up on the felder flares?

And did you have the body shop just paint over top the chrome on the grill, or did you have to get a previously painted grill for them to paint? How's it holding up?

The flares held up fine for the few years I drove it. With them. The grille was a brand new non chrome Toyota grill I use my body shop Paint.

Sorry to belabor the point - where'd you get the black bumpers? Mine's chrome.

Fun fact, Monday I’ll probably put the new tank on the frame, and work towards getting the front diff cleaned up then mounted

Still looking for clean factory green axles..

Look at me forgetting to update the damn thread.. New tanks in, isolators on it, no sending units yet. Did get the rest of the hardlines ran and torqued on the frame and axle. Now i need to work on getting rear calipers to tear apart and send out with the fronts to get powder coated. going to try and make the face of the calipers as smooth as possible so they LOOK aluminum.. they will be powder coated TRD red.
