It's a damn good looking whip, in and out. There's one in my neighborhood that I occasionally see and it's a head turner.

Sorry about the cancer skidoo. Have you tried hooking your prostate up to a tesla supercharger? I hear it helps.

Toyota dual fuel for warehouse and less than 5000 lb yard lifts.

    Hyster for heavy diesel tasks.

I had to do my last cone slalom test on a Hyster dually. Couldn't even see the cones from the cab.

I like their Volvo like styling.

That Polestar looks good, it's still too flashy for me people would think I was driving an Aston Martin. I like rubber floors and black plastic trim.

It is when you're dealing with exponential increases. It's similar to the feral pigs in the southern states. They grow in number exponentially. If you killed 50% of their population this year, it would only be a blip. To halt their population growth you'd have to eliminate 50% three years running.

    That's a 50% decrease that's a blip in an exponential growth formula.

The proof that it'd be a blip is that we have reduced our emissions by way more that 14%, and it hasn't made a dent.

It’s still a decrease, and a noticeable one. Just because other nations have been developing and industrializing rapidly like the US and Europe did in the past doesn’t mean that our emission reductions don’t matter. You can extrapolate from this chart how much the global emissions would be higher had we not been reducing ours even as others increased.

So this is a rather hot topic. I have owned Toyota brand vehicles for a long time. Now Toyota dealerships will give an owner the “this is lifetime fluid” and Lexus dealerships will say “every 60k miles…like the owners manual says.”

I used to work for Toyota many moons ago and we recommended 60K. Oil has a shelf life…and it might be a lot shorter than one might think.

On my tow rig I do a drain and fill every 20k or 1-1.5 years with an external spin on filter swap. Fluid is cheap, and so is the service (and in most cases easily done yourself). I tow at max capacity often (25K lbs), so I have also done other mods to keep temps under 195*F at 85* ambient temperature.

I'm not saying we haven't had an impact. I'm not saying we shouldn't continue. I'm saying the impact isn't significant enough to slow the process in a major way, and that forced regulation isn't the answer.
