Hey hello! Just got a tacoma a month or so back! But realized that I had play at the yolk nearest to the transmission! (Not the u joint the play is at the yolk coming out the transmission) I brought I up to my mechanic and he said it’s a bushing within the extension? but I did some research and couldn’t find an “extension bushing” I’m starting to think the splines on the output shaft are bad? The truck has 200+miles and it’s a manual 2wd! Anyone got any advice?
