Yup, all beat up and smacked around! But there was enough "padding" in there and the box wasn't punctured. It basically became a rigid envelope at best.

That'd be my guess too, would've liked to have seen them packaged a bit better (especially the ball joints) but everything looks okay.

There was plenty of room to at least throw some bubble wrap in there. Mine did come in good condition tho.

To be fair, organizing a group buy doesn't make everybody's order his business to deal with.

The payment was made and orders were shipped individually. I can see your point for sure, but he also can't be responsible for 40 buyers needing individual info.

Anybody should be able to find out about the refunds who was in on the GB, not just him.

I emailed metal tech and John told me they processed the refunds yesterday and we should see them in our accounts in 3-5 days.

I wouldn't hold anyone who headed up a GB responsible for any part of the deal unless they were handling our funds or product, @Bennett707 basically just gave us a heads up on a great deal offered by Metal Tech. Any discrepancies on their part I wouldn't hold him accountable for.

Thanks for following up and letting us know

    Thanks for being fair

I have recommended everyone that has PMd to contact metal directly. As someone mentioned above im just someone that sent out the info. I have no affiliation with the company and therefore am unable to speak to or assist with payments and such.

So who else has their new UCAs installed already? Got mine put on last Thursday, aligned on Friday and tested out on the Miller Jeep Trail (black diamond trail out here in CA) on Saturday morning. They've been great, my truck feels like it wants to wander less esp on the highway. Love having greasable joints now too, though be careful how much grease you put in them as it will come out of the bottom of the boot if it's over filled. The install instructions say 5-10 pumps, I didn't realize how much grease my new grease gun puts out and 10 was too much.

Overall I'm really happy! Thanks @Bennett707 for putting this GB together.

Mine are also on. I had just lifted my truck the week before so I can't tell so much difference in ride as it was all new to me anyways lol. but the gap it created to help prevent the coils from rubbing was tremendous .

I didn't do my own install, I don't have any space at the guesthouse I rent or the right tools. @glorifiedwelder did mine at his shop and everything went smoothly, I think the only tricky part seemed to be getting the OEM balljoints out.

Haven't installed mine yet. How far to the outside have people been sliding the nut for camber adjustment? I'm hoping to get a little more clearance between the tires than the stock arms.

If I remember right mine were set all the way out (toward the tire) and there was plenty of room, I'll have to take another look now though after my alignment but from what I remember after glancing at it they were pretty much in the same spot. Plenty of space between the arms and the tires. I have a first gen though.

You install them all the way out. and it gives a ton more room compared to originals UCAs with a lift.
