looks like it ripped on the seam of the sleeve..a wrap on the sleeve would definitely help quite a bit. That's cool, they're willing to do it for free.

After watching James take Matt's daughter and my girlfriend through a grand canyon in the middle of a dirt road, I'm pretty sure I'd trust your stuff as well, Hassim. There wasn't a dent on his truck after it.

op just be glad you didnt end up like my buddy daniel, his lca bushing sleeve ripped apart at the seam just like yours did. I thank god this happened in a fully caged truck where both the driver and codog were wearing helmets.

edit: didnt even notice but their are pictures of my buddys truck in this thread already ahah

Thinking about it more and more, I believe it is also important to realize what risks you expose yourself to every time you go offroading. I always prepare for the most catastrophic failure to occur on my truck, whether it being a blown tire, and ripped LCA, or sheered lug nuts.

My truck is not caged, so I will never go so fast that I will kill myself or other people if something were to happen. At the end of the day safety is always first, and we off road to have fun, not to risk killing ourselves. We all take known risks when off roading, it is up to us to control and mitigate those risks. Im not gonna trust any manufacturer with my life, I will always be reserved.

Nice. That's what I would if I were Hassim.

And why the hell is everyone talking about gusseting busted "bushing sleeves?"

The sleeves(if there are any) are intact, inside the bushings. The LCA pivots failed.

So what size tubing does engage use and what size tubing does camburg and tc use? Just curious. That one guy asked and only got a "no".

There's no reason to not use thicker wall DOM or better tubing in that location; I'd want that LCA to rip the factory LCA mounts off before having the LCA bushing tube fail like that.

Good on engage for being willing to work with you on this. This is the nature of the beast. This is a weak point in their design, don't get me wrong; but the words "unbreakable" and "LT" don't belong in the same sentence.

All do respect to you Aaron, anything over 25 mph could be dangerous without a cage - I do it and Tom did it once! :) Tom? :) We all take slightly more risks than the average bear!

yes sir, and doing it once is all it takes!!

rolled it doing donuts on a dry empty lake bed with a passenger (my girlfriend) without having the protection off a roll cage. only thing that prevented serious injury was a miracle, suspension seats, and 4 point harnesses. even tho this happened in the MonkeyCrawler it can happen in our tacos just as easily..
