18 month old taco. I’m just wondering if this gargle noise at low rpm is normal or not. Please listen to the video and let me know if you recognize this sound, and whether or not it’s just normal for this engine. It’s faint on the DashCam video, but I’m sure many will recognize the sound. Thanks in advance. Video link below:

It’s extremely faint but there’s a rattle noise around one second. Unfortunately I’m in Deep South Texas where I have to crank the ac up literally twelve months of the year. Thanks for replying.

rewatched your video and i think i get whats happening. Its that weird lug/vibration thing at low rpm? Yea i think they all do it. Try this...
Drive at the speed you're driving in the video. Then bump the shifter over to S mode. Basically, choose the gear that raises the rpms a little bit at that same speed, and see if it does it. IMO its just lugging caused by the factory trans tune. Nothing to worry about, really. Thats a guess, take it with a grain of salt.

I drive ECT on and S4. Sometimes S5. Its solved every single drivability issue for me.

Thanks! I figured it was probably normal, but wanted to double check through the forum!
