Engine bogs down when a/c compressor kicks on

    1995 Toyota Tacoma 2WD
    Lately my engine will bog down, sometimes killing it totally, when the a/c compressor kicks on. I am not sure if it is related, but when outside air temps get @ 80 degrees or above the engine is very hard to start when hot. Where should I begin?
