Engine Chirp

Hey man I have that sound too...

Ever since that chirp noise started I hear a pop and a squeak noise from the engine bay when I turn my wheel and drive when my truck had been sitting for a while.

Does yours do this too

so my truck just started making the chirping noise under the hood are at 4300 miles,has been quiet until now and i use shell 93 octane all the time in the truck and never had issues.I had a 2016 with 12000 miles on it and never had the chirp noise now my 2017 is doing it and sounds like a fucking bird under the hood,has anyone had the high pressure fuel pump replaced or is the dealer gonna give me shit about it?I know my dealer really well and they know i work for a different brand dealer but that noise is not normal and should not sound like a bird under there.

 

Yep I affectionately refer to it as the TurdBird Chirp!

 

Probably depends on the Dealer if they will replace it or not.

 

yeah what the fuck!!! i don;t like the truck making that sound i wonder if i can get them to replace it.
