Engine cleaning question

    Cleaned my engine over the weekend using Meguiar's Super Degreaser. Just spray it on and let it soak for a minute or two and then rinse off with a garden hose. I covered the alternator before doing any of this however. I then let the engine warm up for a while (10 minute?) while I finished drying the exterior. Later I sprayed Meguiar's Hyper Dressing for a little bling ;)

    That's what I use. I spray it all over including the hood, give it a quick hit with a soft wash brush, spray it off with the hose, a quick wipe with a old microfiber cloth or towel, start the motor, let it run for awhile. Try to keep it off fenders outside the engine compartment or it'll mess up your wax job.
