Replaced alternator in v6 2006 Tacoma, drove for a few miles , engine light came on.

    P0335 crankshaft position sensor a
P0776 pressure solenoid b performance or stuck off
C1241 low or high power supply voltage

Could these sensors be acting up because of the new alternator? Please advise.

It “should not” I replaced my alternator, and no problems or codes.

Check the fuses and make sure the belt correct?
Did you unplug anything else’s but the battery and the dead alt wires?

I can’t say much further as those sensors / diagnostics I’m not familiar with. Don’t want to give wrong information.

I'd say you likely have some lose connections or unplugged harness.

Did the alternator require replacement because the bearing/pulley sized? If so a broken serpentine belt may have cut some wires in the engine bay when it happened. Just try and inspect the engine bay for loose wires, cut wires and unplugged harnesses.

I just saw that last code. I think you may have gotten a bad alternator and the other codes are likely a result of that.

if a new alt loses a diode, AC will be applied instead of DC and do weird things to sensor readings

Inspect connections clear the codes and see if they return. Go from there.

Yup. Hit erase codes. Turn the engine off, turn it back on, see what comes back if anything.
