Engine Cover

Where can I purchase a good, but cheap, Engine Cover for my truck! I have been noticing the paint on my hood starting to fade and I believe its time to get something to help with the heat on it before it becomes really noticeable! I thought about line-xing it but I don't know if they do that!

 

I need help as quick as possible to! The truck is about to be driven for a long trip ina few weeks!

 

I don't think anyone makes an engine cover for the first gen.

Couldn't you get the inner lining that goes on the underside from the dealer? I had that on my '99 before I sold it.

 

What do you mean?? Do you have a pic? And what kinda price??

 

I have no pic, like I said, I sold my truck. It basically looks like housing insulation, but thinner and has a reflective/heat resistant coat facing the engine. No idea how much is cost, maybe call up the dealer?

 

You might find something at Home Depot or Lowes you could put on the inside top of the hood.
