Any idea how much more the bigger engine is over the smaller engine? I read $3,000, that's a big increase. Is it worth that much more? I've tried to compare them, I'm not able to find a comparison.

I thought there was only one engine size.Wish there was a choice of a non-turbo one.

Nobody knows the prices yet. It’s the same engine, just with or without a hybrid power assist

I'm getting the optional V8 engine. It's pricey at $5k but worth it.

The hybrid system adds an electric assist motor, controller electronics and battery. I would think that amount should be listed separate on the build sticker.

Previous press releases have said the MAX (hybrid) would be an available option on the TRD Sport and Off Road. The current Spec sheet on Toyota website says it is not available. This could just be because it is not released yet. The builder shows the Limited with the non MAX engine currently but again was listed in press as an option, however the Spec sheet shows it as Standard.

Sooooo no one knows. Not even Toyota

The i-FORCE MAX turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder hybrid powertrain (326 horsepower) pricing has not been released. It probably won't be released until right before they start production of the Pro, Trailhunter, and other trims with the hybrid engine.

Assuming availability of those trims in April, maybe we'll see a press release mid March.

If they have any supply chain issues for batteries then they will save them strictly for the Trail Hunter and Pro.

They’ll have their solid state batteries to rely on by then. :D

"Should we give customers the option for a better powertrain?

No lets add on $5k worth of tubesteps and paint guard instead

    OK"

How I assume the conversation went at the sale department of Toyota cooperate.
