Lemon Laws can vary by state. Where I live, the first "occurrance" must happen within the first 12mo/12K miles and 3, unsuccessful repair attempts in 24mo/24K miles with the vehicle out of service for 30 days.......hardly worth the effort to try and LL a vehicle under those conditions.

Also, as some have noted, just because a dealership has a Toyota sign doesn't mean they have qualified techs and reasonable pricing. When an air pump went south on my '05 Sequoia (common issue), the dealership closest to me quoted something like $3,500. After calling around, I was able to find another Toyota dealer, a bit further away, who did the air pump job, timing belt service and replaced the VSC computer for less than $3K (timing belt service and VSC computer were not included in the first quote).

PS...I realize the OP's issue was warranty related but my point is one can shop different Toyota dealers for service just like buying a vehicle.
