Hello everyone I just bought a 2002 Toyota Tacoma 2.4. 2wheel drive truck and it has a number 2 cylinder misfiredetected so I ran a compression test and three of thecylinders get 120 -127 psi but the number 2 cylinder only getsto 90. I also ran a vacuum test and it gets
To around 16 in or vacuums
Then it flicks back form 16 in lbs to 10 in lbs very fast the check engine light is on and says that it have 2 cylinder miss fire so the guy I bought it from said it was the coil so I bought 4 coils for the truck and sparkplugs but no real change cananyone help me on figuring out what's wrong???? Please

Now folks may realize why I recommend a compression test and an ECU scan as part of a pre purchase inspection.....

OP. Have you done a leakdown test to determine if the compression issue is valve or ring related?

Any chance you can return the vehicle? Methinks you got scammed.
