Engine light - Vapor Prssure Sensor - remedied/fixed.

To all my fellow Tacoma owners, yes I too was fighting this battle (since 2016) and the states of Nevada and California would not register my vehicle until this was remedied. I shipped my truck to Hawaii where this was not an issue and then started playing with fixing it. I ordered the part 89460-04020 by mistake a 89460-04060 ($45.00) came in. I noticed it was a used part for a Lexus. I compared the parts and they were exactly the same (terminals and all). I figured what the hell, I have part. Plugged it in, cleared the code (420 - Vapor sensor) and walla! it has been 2 months and no dash -Engine light- has came back on. I am tracking it daily and so far. It seems to have remedied the problem. Also my reader shows no codes.

By the way I now have my truck in South Korea, The only 2001 silver Toyota Tacoma pre-runner in SK.....will be headed back after this PCS with truck.
