I’ve got a 2003 Tacoma with the V6 and was wondering if anyone has had an issue where a cylinder 3 misfire code comes on and a throttle position sensor code comes on with it. Was wondering what that could be besides obviously coils, wires, and plugs

Bro- Interesting that you asked this. I have been chasing down a cylinder 3 misfire code, (which is obviously misfiring when cold, then goes away) in conjunction with increasingly worsening hesitation at cruise (cuts out for a second or two, then comes back, can feel the throttle pedal pulsing when it comes back.) I didn't tie the two problems together, but here is what I've done so far, with no effect- replaced the tank fuel pump and filter, replaced the frame fuel filter, replaced all the injectors, all the coils, the coil wires, and spark plugs. No improvement with either issue. I have an ignitor and a throttle position sensor on order. The TPS will arrive today, the ignitor tomorrow. I highly suspect the TPS. If it shows up today, I'll install it and see what happens. I can't imagine what else is left, but I find it very interesting that we both have that #3 cylinder misfire code. (2004 Tacoma, 365k miles, btw.)
