My 2010 tacoma has a misfire and has these codes showing up: C1246, which has to do with the abs system. And c1202: 1/2
    1. Engine control system malfunction.
    2. EV control system malfunction.
Im wondering whats causing the misfire, ive changed the injectors coils and plugs. Not sure what to think.

Has compression been verified in the misfiring cylinder?
    What code(s) in the PCM?
It's normal for the ABS to set engine control system codes when there are codes present in the PCM.

PCM as in Engine Control Module/Powertrain Control Module, typically the first thing you pull codes from for a driveability problem.
Powertrain/Engine Codes start with Pxxxx, misfire codes are usually p03xx

    Ok so no other codes.
When does it missfire (cold start, idling, hot start, driving, going up a hill, all the time, etc)?

Typically cold start, it will hiccup once in awhile while its idling, but not very often.

That kind of suggests a headgasket leak but low compression could cause it too.
    Are you losing any coolant?

I have been losing coolant here and there out of a hose that goes into the coolant resivour but nothing major. My truck doesn't smoke, Last time i changed my oil it was probably low 2 quarts give or take. I cant find any spots on the ground where its leaking so id assume its burning it? and it hasnt smelt funny until this morning, the only reason i got on here to ask about this stuff is because this morning my truck stunk like really hot brakes or hot plastic maybe? but it was coming through my vents, and when i got out of the truck i couldnt smell it. Like it was to the point where i had to roll my windows down. But it was running fine. Just really weird.

could be the blower motor or resistor connection. They are known to melt. They are under the passenger dash. Easy to get to.

Are the valve covers seeping and dripping on the exhaust manifolds? That could cause a burning smell.
Oil burning will typically show up as deposits on the spark plugs if it's burning alot.

If you want to rule out the misfire being caused by a headgasket leak pull the plugs out of the misfiring cylinders, pressurize the colling system with a colling system tester, let it sit for a few hours, and look for coolant in the cylinders. If coolant is present in the cylinders you have a leak, if not it's not a headgasket.
