Hey guys really need some help, I've got a 3rzfe and it recently started doing this weird thing where it will like hiccup when accelerating almost like a misfire but it's not misfiring I've changed plugs and fuel filter also was told could be cam positioning sensor so I got a new one but still doing it I have no idea what it could be I'd really appreciate some help.

Is it at one specific throttle range? This could indicate a faulty throttle position sensor.

When you say one specific throttle range do you mean like WOT, or at a certain RPM?

Actual mechanical position of the throttle/pedal. If it always occurs at say 1/2 throttle without regard to rpm, it could point to a worn TPS that doesnt signal at a certain point. I have had that happen on a couple vehicles I worked on. Both non-cruise equipped high mileage. Drivers kept throttle pressure over long drives and wore the contacts down in one spot. Bench tested resistance over throttle engagement range to check for dead/dying spots.
