I can not find out where the sound is coming exactly and why the engine makes a Rattle noise or it seems to be a Knock Knock sound ( Hammer :) ) on the cold start ( Around 34F - 36F ).

Once the car is idle and increases the RPM it makes a louder sound. It's only happening once the weather is cold and disappears after a few minutes.

Here is the link to the video:

Let me know please what you think if if you had any previous experience with that sound.
    Thanks

I honestly think that your truck is idling higher to compensate for the cold weather. I have a 2nd Gen 2.7L, but my truck does something similar (though it is less pronounced). Once the truck has been running for a bit, it quiets down significantly. I have a 2010 (purchased new in September 2009) that is quickly approaching 122K miles, and it runs as quiet as the day I brought it home!

Could be slack in the timing chain and it’s smacking something, if it goes away after warmup it’s fine

it's called piston slap. i've got the 2.7 4cyl and it's the same deal on cold days. i've talked to guys with 6 cyl engines and they get it too. Toyota makes their engines a little bit loose on purpose, like AK-47's are made.
