Engine Rattling Noise

Oh no it only started making that noise a out a week ago. I know that's still a long time but it hasn't been too long. I'm not selling my truck.

That's up to you, and you could very well be fine for a long while. These motors will put up with a lot of abuse. I'd get the oil consumption under control- 5k isn't an unrealistic oil change interval even on conventional oil with a lot of highway driving so that's not the cause.
