    Hi, I have a 04 3.4 DC Taco 212,XXX miles.

I have not done a leak down or compression test or timing belt yet.
The engine is starting to sound a little ratty and sorry for my lack of specification but i can hear the fluids running through it, exhaust note doesn't sound as strong and it revs funny.
Also it squeals. Non stop. Not loud but to where I can hear it in the cab.

It drives fine, starts right up, drives me 40 miles to work every day.

I plan on keeping this truck for a long time.

What should I do to refresh the engine, make it preppy and strong sounding again?

The only upgrade Is k&n CAI
