Hi, I'm looking for some suggestions to increase the engine response and therefore, I guess, horsepower on my 06 TRD.

Also, when I step sharply on the gas I hear a bit of a "sucking" noise before the engine responds, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Even with 900 pounds in the bed I get more then enough response out of the 3.4

If your not happy time for forced induction !!

Nitrous oxide is an option but filling or exchanging cylinders can be a pain some places .

Then a regulator and a delivery system can get interesting at best.

The old style of your copilot holding the tank and cracking the valve as needed is frowned on .

Just change all your fluids to synthetic and change your plugs. Re-gear the differential to 4.56 (assuming you're running 32-33 inch tires)
