Hi everyone, posting here to see if anyone has a general idea as you were all very helpful in my first post(not related). When I rev it in park the truck will shut off when the needle comes back to idle RPMs. It won’t do this while driving. It also won’t shut off if I keep the pedal pressed and keep it above idle RPMs while parked. I’ve recently installed a new muffler, spark plugs, battery, alternator, and fuel filter. This happened well before any replacements. Thank you.

Possible idle air control valve issue.

How up to date are you on maintenance? MAF, throttle body clean?

I’ll give cleaning the throttle body and MAF a shot this weekend. If this doesn’t help I’ll have a look at the idle air control valve. Thanks guys, I’ll post update afterwards.

Could be TPS, or a vacuum leak as well. Have you replaced or inspected the vacuum lines? Outside of a visual inspection, you can smoke test, or spray an EFI safe cleaner (not brake cleaner, burning brake cleaner will kill you) around the various hoses and see if the engine idle changes. If you have a propane torch, you can also use that (unlit, obviously).
