I own a 2004 Tacoma crew cab 3.4 V6 and have started noticing some fuel problems. I didnt notice it as much until I put an exhaust on it and can now verbally hear it. Whenever I take off from a stop and give it gas it kinda starts to sputter or pop and seems like small power loss but then when I get to a certain point it just wants to go. I was thinking maybe a bad fuel pump? not quite sure but I ran injector cleaner through it about a month ago and change air and fuel filter.

I was having sort of a similar issue with my 03. I tried upping the octane to 93 and no more problems. Worth a shot.
